Brady Quinn made his long awaited debut last night against the Detroit Lions in the Browns 23-20 fall. Quinn finished 13 of 20 (with three spikes counted in) with 2 touchdowns for a final of 155 yards passing. While it is true that Quinn couldn’t have done much better, people must consider that this was during the 4th quarter of the second preseason game of the year. Don’t get me wrong, I hope Brady Quinn is the answer to Cleveland’s woes; however, I’m not going to get excited until he puts up those numbers against some starters on a decent team. I’m sure many people are going to be going on and on about him this week, but the question remains whether the talk will continue next week after the Browns play Denver.
This week will be busy as more students begin to pour back into Muskingum College. I’m happy and sad at the same time. I love the campus when hardly anyone is there because it’s peaceful and relaxing. But I do miss a lot of people so it will be good to see them again. Hopefully work won’t be too busy.
